Magic. Sheer magic is how I can describe Ustad Zakir Hussain.
I had never imagined that a simple looking tabla would be able to produce a sound like a conch-shell. More over the laya and shabda knowledge of zakir was amazing to listen.
The kathak performance by his wife Antonia was no less either. All in all, it was an awesome performance.
Thanks to Surabhi Clemson for a wonderful concert.

well....even I met him!! :P (u can check out my orkut album), he's such a cool guy that he spoke to most of us, we walked along with him outside to his car, as if he's a friend!
well, cant really add much to what Nidhi said, he showed us why he is called ustad!
for all of us who went from Knoxville, it was worth every penny and the 200 mile journey!
