And they cannot tell the difference between the pigs and the humans

Those who have read Orwell understand. Power corrupts. No matter what the political ideology is, no matter how strong the so called revolution was, after a point of time, the rulers become corrupt. Same thing is happening in West Bengal. Now I am not against capitalism or against communists. It is my humble opinion that there is no solution to suffering of poor.

West Bengal: Longest rule for a democratically elected communist government. One of the fore runners when land reforms kicked in. Cried out loud against narmada project. But when it came to the their own land acquisition at Singur, the it is all white. Meanwhile Mamata bannerjee being a good politician she is, understands that this is her opportunity to rise to power. The sufferers are poor land owners(??). If the land finally is acquired, they will lose their livelihood. Otherwise they will lose out on keeping up with the rest of the world which is already industrialized.

To quote Orwell from Animal farm,

"The creatures outside looked from pig to man, and from man to pig, and from pig to man again; but already it was impossible to say which was which"
